Some students, including myself, opted on participating on the JEA/NSPA National Journalism Convention in Washington D.C. This was an experience like no other. Not only did we get to listen to speakers from all over the country educate us on different topics ranging from spread design to coverage, but we also got to participate in different media competitions. I decided to participate in the infographic competition, where I was asked to create an infographic with the images and information provided for me. This was very challenging for me since I had never done an infographic this big, but I managed to end with a product I'm proud of. This trip was very fun and I would do anything to relive these experiences all over again.
